SPeaking of christmas/ holiday season music , there is a tour every year in Finland called "Heavy christmas". It is traditional christmas songs (finnish and english) performed in heavy metal style. Many of these guys are there too. You can find the whole shows online in youtube. It is amazing!

With huge concerts/crowds, they often have extra speakers placed out so that everyone can hear, and screens showing the artists so everyone can see. For huge crowds, check out Metalica in Moscow and Babymetal playing at festivals. If you're into Cellos, there are a couple of heavy bands, 2 Cellos and Apocalyptica (their Metalica covers in particulaar) comes to mind. Steve'n Seagulls is also fun, and Hayseed Dixie

Hanoi Rocks was insanely influential band in Asia and also in the US music scene. For example, Guns n' Roses members were massive fans of Hanoi Rocks and they copied a lot from them as tribute. This is part of Finnish 100 anniversary celebration in 2017. You see some of the the most successful Finnish singers here and two other just simply great vocalists. The bands Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius and Children of Bobom are the Finnish metal torch carriers and very much loved bands all over the world.

Cisse Häkkinen from Hurriganes is the first ever REAL rock star from Finland. May he rest in peace. Also the guitarist, Albert Järvinen, is dead. He died in London, same street than Jimi Hendrix. Cisse was 39 years old when died and Albert wast 40 years old. Rock and roll life is not easy :)
